Routine British comedy starring Wisdom as a hapless window washer who loses his job in London and is forced to move to the country, where he lands a job cleaning the windows of a monstrous mansion that has more windows than any other building in England. If that isn't bad enough, the young, spoiled heir of the manor, Caridia, makes Wisdom take him to a nightclub. Some crooks see this as a good opportunity to kidnap the rich heir and they make an attempt in the club, but Wisdom successfully fights them off. Unfortunately, Caridia hits his head during the struggle and develops amnesia. Wisdom is accused of kidnaping and is sentenced to 25 years. Not one to take injustice lying down, Wisdom escapes prison and takes it on the lam. Luckily, Caridia hits his head again, remembers the true facts regarding the kidnap attempt, and clears the window washer's name.
