Tumbleweed Reviews

This is a typical western outing for Murphy. He's a guard for a wagon train and wrongly accused of being party to a raid on it. He's saved from hanging by Wills and put in jail. He's sprung from there by a Yaqui Indian he once helped. Wills catches up with him at a waterhole where they battle some Indians. After a fight with the real villain, Johnson (later to play the Professor on TV's "Gilligan's Island"), Murphy proves his innocence. Every Murphy motif is clearly in place, and this is no different from most of his other cowboy films. The production values aren't bad, with some good use of color.
