Traitor's Gate Reviews

This film is based on the novel The Traitor's Gate by Edgar Wallace. A business executive plans to steal the crown jewels from the Tower of London. In order to carry out his scheme, he kidnaps the main guard and replaces him with an escaped convict who bears an uncanny resemblance to the kidnaped watchman. Everything goes as planned. The businessman double-crosses his convict partner by sending him off with a set of phony jewels containing a bomb. However, the businessman's secretary finds out about the plan and goes to the authorities. Her boss is arrested, the convict is shot and captured, and the jewels are returned for safekeeping.
