This slapped-together drama is slipshod on all accounts. Darro is a newsboy who teams with reporter Richmond to break up a racket run by Worth. Worth is cheating sweepstakes winners while also running a sleazy nightclub where Darro's sister, Fraser, sings. When Darro's grandfather is

killed, Darro gets involved because the gangsters want the grandfather's lucky ticket, which the boy now holds. But Darro and Richmond battle it out with the bad guys in some of the most laughable, poorly made fight scenes ever filmed, with the two finally prevailing over the entire gang.
