A young immigrant (Toka Murphy) forms the connective tissue for this emotionally resonant, four-part look at life in contemporary Toronto. In the first story, two adventurous kids take a night tour of the Don Valley. The second story reveals the difficulty of making connections in the city, and the third concerns a man who discovers that the past lingers strong while he struggles to turn over a new leaf. The final tale follows a drug-addicted vagrant on his quest to save a young boy.
