A fairly routine programmer that boasts the screenwriting talents of a young Jack Nicholson (he coauthored the screenplay with Don Devlin). The story centers on the activities of professional assassin Nelson, who is hired by a group of nationalists to kill the exiled ruler of a South

American country, now living in the Caribbean. The cold-blooded Nelson waylays onetime advertising executive Kelly and his wife Spain and forces them to take him to the dictator's retreat in their boat. Keeping Spain as a hostage, Nelson botches the assassination attempt on the dictator and soon

finds himself running from the deposed ruler's men and from Kelly. Eventually Nelson is killed by Kelly and Spain is rescued. This was shot on location in Puerto Rico, making good use of famed El Morro Castle in a final chase sequence.
