All superlatives are pulled out by the narrator of this one as he expounds on the efforts of the Third Armored Division against the Germans in 1944. Cochran is a rough-and-tumble guy leading his boys into battle after their master sergeant is killed. Lieutenant Carey was supposed to be in charge, but Cochran is a man's man and the real leader. The boys throw about a few jokes to keep it light, but when the action is tense they can be counted on. Actual war footage is interspersed throughout for realism. This is like all the other tank films before it.
