Brian is a chorus girl being pushed into marrying a wealthy man by her friend Prevost. Brian can't go along with the scheme and the expensive bracelet that has the man's apartment key attached to it. Her good behavior is rewarded by marriage to Kerr. A dud of a film that lost $160,000 at

the box office. One reason for this was that the cast members were not big draws; another was that the entire film was shot in the expensive two-color Technicolor process, which was unusual for the time (most of its contemporaries which used the process had only brief sequences in color). The

color process had been refined by this time; this was the first picture to use the reduced-grain Technicolor system. Critics of the time thought that the leading players looked better in black and white; Kerr, for instance, had a blemish on one cheek which the process reproduced too perfectly.
