Once again the Germans try to make a British mystery movie, with only minor success. Borsche stars as a Scotland Yard detective investigating the murders of several prominent London businessmen. When discussing the situation with his boss, Sohnker, he meets his superior's fiancee, Rutting,

a mystery writer. She announces that the identity of the murderer will be revealed in the last chapter of her latest book. While digging for clues, Borsche learns that all the dead men had taken a pleasure cruise together. After running down all the various leads but still confused as to who the

culprit is, Borsche is hit over the head with the answer when Rutting confesses to the crimes. She reveals that all the men were involved in some sleazy sexual business and raped her on the pleasure cruise. After making her stunning admission, she takes a cyanide pill and dies.
