Wall Street whiz kid Matt Wade (Paul Mercurio) leaps at the opportunity to pitch his portfolio to Francois Dubois (Malcolm McDowell), despite his reputation as New Orleans' most eccentric multimillionaire. Little does Matt realize, however, that Dubois plans to test the handsome young man's mettle in ways that have little to do with stock options. Pretending to be a wheelchair-bound voyeur, the jaded tycoon pushes Matt into the arms of his comely young wife, Emily (Clara Bellar). While his nervous boss phones from NYC about closing the $500,000,000 deal, Matt frolics kinkily with Emily. Playing the outraged cuckold, Francois orders Matt out of town, but Matt sneaks into the Dubois' masked ball and whisks Emily away to a motel. When Francois apparently expires, the authorities arrest Matt. However, they drop charges, on the proviso that he has no contact with Emily. But the enamored young man can't resist sneaking back onto the Dubois estate, where a live and completely mobile Francois confronts him, explaining that he was merely testing Matt's aggressive worthiness to become his new broker. What does it profit a man if he concocts an ineffably sleazy movie, yet fails to turn anyone on? Despite its vague association to soft pornmeister Zalman King, this film's sexcapades &#151 including yawn-provoking scenes of recreational bondage &#151 are about as erotic as the wayward encounters depicted in old Army V.D. films.
