Set and shot in Cambridge, Massachusetts, this urban drama presents convincing street characters in authentic locations. The story concerns a young couple, Donna (Laura Harrington) and Billy (Henry Tomaszewski) who, after working all day, hang out with the crowd at a nearby housing

project. The two are on the roof of the project one night when an African-American friend accidentally falls. Fearing that Billy may be blamed, they cover up the incident. When the young man dies of his injuries, Donna's black girl friend, Marlene (Michelle Green), is arrested as a suspect in the

murder. At this point, writer-director Jan Egelson shifts his focus to Donna and her home life, dropping other threads of the story line and leaving viewers up in air.
