All the cliches of "radio musical" movies are adapted to the infant medium of television for this minor programmer. Caldwell works for an ad agency but is fired after a mixup with the boss's wife. Her father (Vivian), a cello player, becomes ill, and the family has no income until little sister Hunter poses as a nightclub singer and ends up a TV star. Simplistic and typical for this sort of film, with standard production values and reasonably good performances. Songs include: "When You're Near," "When Does Love Begin?" (Hal Borne, sung by David Bruce), "For the Right Guy," "I'm So Lonely" (Borne), and "Bob-Bob That Did It" (Borne, Eddie Cherkose).
