Zalman King's orgy omnibus takes on new passengers in this latest silly installment of the long-running series. Unfortunately, THE RED SHOES DIARIES franchise has degenerated into self-parody, and newer installments fluctuate between arch seriousness and juvenile humor. In "The Game," a couple pushes the envelope of sex games. Repeating the slogans of a board game you won't find in a Milton Bradley catalogue, Lily (Caron Bernstein) begs her lover to "Show me, Tell me, Touch me!" After they try blindfolded coupling, exhibitionistic intercourse during a rainstorm, partner swapping and a role-playing stunt in which they play a pimp and hooker, Lily decides her boyfriend has intimacy issues. Can she find contentment with a one-woman guy (Michael T. Weiss)?

"The Cake" follows the shopping spree of bored housewife Juliet (Jennifer MacDonald), as she seeks the perfect present for her staid hubby. She stumbles upon an erotic bakery, where a master chef decorates women like elaborate birthday cakes — perhaps some strategically placed icing will bring some sweetness back to Juliet's stale lovelife. "Like Father Like Son" revolves around teenaged Johnny (Will Stewart), who ignores his own girlfriend to court his father's French mistress (Arielle Dombasle). Filled with supple flech and cliched catchphrases about l'amour, this trio of fornication fantasies features MTV-style directing and way too much talk. The movie's buffed stars can't compensate for flabby writing, no matter how hard they try
