Patriotic war film that shows that love of country is more important than family ties. Veidt, in a dual role, plays an evil Nazi and a German-born, but loyal, American. The bad twin forces his brother to aid German spies, but the good guy has a plan of his own. Ayars is the woman who loves both men. Fine performances and effectively tense direction make this a decent spy film.
