A charming piece of fluff which is entertaining solely because of Chevalier. He plays a graying count from the South of France who keeps an indexed system of all his past loves. One day a young lovely turns up at his doorstep claiming to be an offspring from a past affair. He accepts her

with open arms, taking her into his chateau and offering the best treatment. But when a half-dozen more gals arrive with the same story, Chevalier becomes suspicious. His son returns home from a scientific expedition and falls in love with one of the girls, and soon after Chevalier tells them all

that he knows that something's up. The girls admit their deceit, identifying themselves as unemployed stage actresses who are just waiting for work. A pleasant return to the American screen for Chevalier, whose politicizing got a ban put on his visa in earlier days. Includes a pair of tunes sung

by Chevalier, "C'est l'Amour" and "Demain J'ai Vingt Ans" (Fred Freed).
