a rich man who helps out Dorne with some needed money but gradually learns what happened to her husband. Dorne switches her fleeting affections back to Reed as the police close in on the murderous pair. The plot is a sort of poor man's THE POSTMAN ALWAYS RINGS TWICE without any of that story's

steamy heart. Both production values and the ensemble are faltering in this inconsequential story of love and murder.
