Robert Carlyle and Marisa Tomei are in perfect step as a grieving widower and a shy woman who engage in a romantic tango at a California dance academy. The refreshing and uplifting crowd-pleaser was directed and co-written by Randall Miller, who expanded his half-hour 1990 student film to feature length with script help from his wife, Jody Savin.
