Eurasian woman. Agar soon finds himself in bed with her, but Chi publicly denounces the publicity scheme. To get revenge, Klavun attempts to discredit Chi. Agar, ashamed of his feelings toward the girl, goes along with the ambitious politician's plan, hoping she will leave town. Chi leaves with

Klavun's son, Cestare, but when she struggles against his advances, he throws her out of his speeding car and runs her down. Cestare turns himself in, and Agar resigns his post and goes back to his wife.
