Vawter is an Army vet who, along with wife Hochschild, has holed up in a cheap motel near a New York City airport. Their relationship is quickly ending as they carry their arguments back and forth between their room and the motel's bar. The latter is frequented by various sleazy people:

drunks, prostitutes, and perverts. Shot in 16mm, this is a crude and technically incompetent exercise in filmmaking. The story has little merit, though Hochschild gives her performance a good deal of energy. This marked the debut of Oblowitz as a director. Born in South Africa, he settled in

America to make films.
