Preston and Randall con millionaire gangster Matthau into fronting $2 million for the production of a lusty film about Adam and Eve, starring the mobster's stripper girl friend. The film, like so many others, is a disaster, forcing the fleecers to flee to Greece. There the enterprising

Preston comes up with another lame-brained idea, this time promoting a sagging tourist trap as a lover's paradise. He eventually falls in love with Matthau's niece, which saves him from seemingly unavoidable doom. This would simply be a most unfunny comedy were it not pushed into the realm of the

truly awful by Matthau's appalling performance. He mugs, screams, and throws himself about shamelessly in search of laughs that just aren't there. Vassili Lambrinos, who plays Prof. Pappas, was later convicted of extortion and sentenced to life imprisonment.
