For over five hundred years, it served as the ceremonial and political center of its nation. It also provided a home for 24 Chinese emperors and two dynasties, the Ming and the Qing. Three years in the making, this high definition documentary program traces the rich and complex history of the City, while carrying viewers on a breathtaking tour of its interiors and exteriors.
