A quirky little romance about stuntman Taylor and his marriage to screen star Hayes. The relationship is in trouble when a fellow stuntman gets killed, raising objections from the understandably fearful Hayes. They split but are reunited by Taylor's buddies. An enlightening philosophy of

stuntmen is spoken in this pic: "Risking your life for a movie isn't as silly as starving to death." Cast as a film director is Fred Niblo, the famed silent film director who brought to the screen such pictures as 1922's awesome BEN HUR. RKO ended up in court over this picture as the subject of a

lawsuit by ex-RKO star Helen Twelvetrees. She claimed the story was based on her relationship with ex-husband and stuntman Jack Woody. The suit was settled out of court in 1943 for $1,100.
