Poorly acted and badly produced anti-Nazi propaganda based on the experiences of Isobel Lillian Steele (who also stars), a woman held prisoner by the Nazis in 1934 under the charge of spying. Almost immediately after her release Steele capitalized on her captivity as much as possible,

first writing books and articles, and then coming up with this movie. As a whole the picture yields no insight into Germany at the time, but only seems to say that Hitler and his gang were very bad men. Steele also proved to be a bad actress, even though she was playing herself, remaining

incapable of generating any real dimension.
