Farm hokum stars the country novelty band known as the Hoosier Hotshots, here playing the Baker Boys, a local singing group adored by the community but abhorred by small-town potentate Hall. Normally this wouldn't be a problem for the boys, but they want to enlist in the Air Corps and the

head of the draft board is Hall, who refuses the boys enlistment out of spite. Enter Hall's five daughters, who have just returned from finishing school. The Baker Boys decide to pair up with them and make it appear that a five-way marriage is imminent, so that the old coot will ship them off to

war pronto. The plan backfires when Hall has a sudden (and ridiculous) change of heart and decides that his daughters should marry the Baker boys after all. Songs include "Hoosier Holiday" and "Granddaddy of Boogie Woogie" (Johnny Marvin, Charles Henderson).
