Silly newspaper saga starring Nugent as a cub reporter who can't understand why every crime scoop he calls into the paper has already been reported by a rival newshound. Nugent smells a rat when he discovers that the bank hold-up he witnesses has already been reported, and, with the help of his girl, he reveals that the paper's publisher and the rival reporter are members of a crime syndicate that has been terrorizing the city.
