Seventy-three-year-old British twin brothers, Martin (Eric Christmas) and Art Hart (Ted Stidder), come home to visit Pappy (Joe Austin), their 103-year-old father, and find most of their possessions are missing from the family estate. They eventually learn that Pappy has been kidnaped by Belle Haimes (Valri Bromfield), a roller-derby-queen-turned-nurse who is plotting to marry the old codger to get his fortune. Directed by Rex Bromfield, HOME IS WHERE THE HART IS fails on every level. Its attempts at black comedy fall flat; the performances are nearly nonexistent; the photography is murky and underlit and the writing sophomoric.
