and she wants him to teach her to play. Gaynor's parents disapprove of Farrell and his family, and frown upon their romance, particularly since Gaynor is already promised to a French count. The two young lovers elope on the eve of Gaynor's marriage to the count. In the end, the marriage brings a

truce between the two families and prosperity to the fathers. Farrell's ukulele and Gaynor's voice are the springboards for several songs, including "I'm In The Market For You," "Eleanor," "High Society Blues," "Just Like In A Story Book," "The Song I Sing In My Dreams," and "I Don't Know You Well

Enough For That" (Joseph McCarthy, James Hanley).
