her way to the big city she meets Rita (Margot Kidder), a tough loudmouth, and reluctantly travels with her. The unlikely twosome end up working in a factory, where Rita falls for the owner's Italian nephew. Kidder, like the rest of the cast, delivers a strong, if somewhat grating, performance.
