Musical comedy involving a young cadet (Charles "Buddy" Rogers), social snobbery and jazz singing (Helen Kane). Victor Moore, Margaret Breen, Gene Gowing, Helen Garrington. Directed by Victor Schertzinger.

A boyish Rogers stars as a Coast Guard ensign assigned to a yacht which is suspected of rum running. On board, he falls for the lovely Breen, against her mother's wishes. Rogers, as expected, discovers who's behind the illegal boozing and points the finger at mom's hoped-for son-in-law. Songs include: "My Man Is On The Make," "A Ship Without A Sail" (Richard Rodgers, Lorenz Hart), "If I Knew You Better" (Victor Schertzinger).
