More detective thriller than horror movie, this is a bad attempt at making the splatter formula fit a more mainstream approach. A mad slasher is stalking Staten Island, killing young brides-to-be. Police detective Gamble (Lewis Arlt) sees a pattern to the killings, especially since a while

back his own fiancee was murdered in a similar manner. As it turns out, the killer (Tom Rolfing) is hiding out in a shop that makes wedding dresses. Director Armand Mastroianni, Marcello's American-born cousin, puts this oh-so-familiar material through its paces without injecting anything remotely

resembling wit or personal style.
