Eight Girls in a Boat Reviews

At a private girls' school in Switzerland, Wilson finds herself pregnant by Montgomery. He offers to marry her, but his father won't allow it, so the other girls decide to underwrite the child. When Montgomery's father has a change of heart and allows the marriage, the others are quite upset. Wilson's excellent performance makes this one worth watching today. The female supporting cast were the winners in a nationwide contest, with three girls from the East, two from the Midwest, and three from the West. (Remade from the German film of 1932.)
