Column South Reviews

Idealistic cavalry officer Murphy is transferred to a New Mexico fort where he shows the hard-nosed Sterling how to live peacefully with Weaver and his Navajo tribe. When Murphy discovers that powerful general Collins is planning to turn over his troops to the Confederate forces at the outbreak of the Civil War, Murphy must again butt heads with Sterling who refuses to believe the plot. Murphy and Sterling eventually halt Collins' treacherous ways, and Murphy, of course, wins the heart of Sterling's daughter, Evans. Familiar cavalry drama that owes its charm to the appeal of Murphy.
