Typical Bronson blood 'n' guts fare in which the whipcord-muscled hero plays an American expatriate operating a small fishing boat on France's Cote d'Azur. There he lives an idyllic existence with his wife, Ullman, and their daughter, Delulle. But Bronson has kept his past secret, and soon drug smugglers (former comrades) led by Mason (attempting an American Southern accent) try to force him to return to illegal enterprises by kidnapping his family. Bronson retaliates by kidnapping Mason's mistress, Ireland, who has the money necessary for the crooks to pull their caper. After many bloody gun battles and dangerous auto chases, Mason and his hoods are killed, and Bronson and family go off to enjoy the Bastille Day celebration.
