Cheech and Chong's The Corsican Brothers Reviews

The drug-addled duo of Cheech and Chong dropped all their chemical-inspired jokes for this film, but there are enough scatalogical, homophobic, and perverse sexual gags to fill in that gap. Here they reenact Alexandre Dumas's famous story of the two brothers in revolutionary France who can feel each other's pain. The story, simply put, has them separated at birth but reunited as adults to help fight in the people's cause. Chong directs from the script he wrote with Cheech Marin, two areas at which he proves to be totally inept. The film is a poorly structured mess with a few sophomoric laughs.
