bush, ignores the letter. His friend, scholarly soldier Cronyn, starts a correspondence with Hunt in Carroll's name, sending her a snapshot of his well-built buddy. Transferred to New York, Hunt's city, Cronyn strikes up a friendship with his patriotic pen pal who is now smitten with the missives

she believes to have been written by Carroll. When the latter discovers Cronyn's secret, the lecherous lover-boy attempts to move in on Hunt. Naturally, all ends well. This was a remake of the 1922 silent film DON'T WRITE LETTERS.
