Survivor Winners: Where Are They Now?

Parvati Shallow, Yul KwonRob Mariano and Michele Fitzgerald: If you've been wondering where these Survivor winners are today, then you're in luck. For one thing, you have Survivor: Winners at War. On the occasion of the Jeff Probst-hosted CBS reality show's 40th season, Winners at War brought back 20 former winners, and culminated in a $2 million victory for Survivor: Cagayan champ Tony Vlachos

But as epic as Winners at War was, it didn't catch you up with every former Survivor winner. That's where this photo gallery comes in!

Survivor (Virtual) Reunion

Before we get to the individual Survivor champs, here's a group Zoom shot from the Survivor: Winners at War May 2020 finale. All 20 former winners who competed on Winners at War checked in virtually on the telecast which, owing to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, was hosted by Jeff Probst from his garage.

Season 40 Survivor: Winners at War Winner: Tony Vlachos

These days, New Jersey police officer Tony Vlachos is $2 million richer after scoring a decisive victory over Natalie Anderson and Michele Fitzgerald in the Winners at War finale. He's seen here via Zoom celebrating his second-career Survivor win in his home with his wife and two children.

Season 39 Survivor: Island of the Idols Winner: Tommy Sheehan

In a season marred by the historic removal of a contestant -- castaway Dan Spilo -- Sheehan stayed above the fray, and ended up with the $1 million grand prize. Following his win, the fourth-grade teacher from New York state "was celebrated like a rock star at his school," Patch.com reported.

Season 38 Survivor: Edge of Extinction Winner: Chris Underwood

The district sales manager from South Carolina was a historic Survivor winner: going from being voted out of on Day 8, to biding his time in the purgatory that was the season's Extinction Island, to returning to the game on Day 35 and ultimately claiming the $1 million grand prize. Shortly after his win, the newly married Underwood said he hoped to travel -- and check in with his hometown financial adviser.

Season 37 Survivor: David vs. Goliath Winner: Nick Wilson

The public defender was voted the winner of the show's 37th season in 2018. While he returned to his career in Kentucky, Survivor called again. He finished in seventh place on Survivor: Winners at War.

Season 36 Survivor: Ghost Island Winner: Wendell Holland

The Philadelphia native and former lawyer returned to his custom furniture business, Beve Unlimited, after his 2018 Survivor win and says he invested his $1 million winnings. He and fellow Survivor champ Michele Fitzgerald "casually dated" while Ghost Island aired "and a little after," Holland told Entertainment Weekly

In 2020, Holland competed against Fitzgerald on Survivor: Winners at War; he finished in 13th place -- she made it to the top three.

Season 35 Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers Winner: Ben Driebergen

The Marine vet was able to outwit, outplay and outlast his competition to win Survivor: Heroes v. Healers v. Hustlers. In 2020, he returned for Survivor: Winners at War, and finished fifth. Outside of Survivor, Driebergen works as a real-estate agent in Boise, Idaho, and has a wife, Kelly, and two children.

Season 34 Survivor: Game Changers Winner: Sarah Lacina

Lacina came in 11th place when she participated on Survivor: Cagayan and later won Survivor: Game Changers. In 2020, she returned for Survivor: Winners at War, where she was a dominant player, and ultimately the fourth-place finisher. 

When not competing for Sole Survivor, Lacina lives in Iowa with her husband and their son, and works as a police officer.

Season 33 Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X Winner: Adam Klein

Klein works as a motivational speaker and lung-cancer advocate. In 2019, he moved from Los Angeles to the Virgin Island to host Bill Perkins' Twitch show, The Thirst Lounge. In 2020. he returned to Survivor for Survivor: Winners at War. He finished in 12th place.

Season 32 Survivor: Kaôh Rōng Winner: Michele Fitzgerald

The Season 32 winner works in travel, and returned to the Survivor world for Survivor: Winners at War. In Winners at War, she showed a lot of moxie, and made it all the way to the final three -- way ahead of former flame and fellow competitor Wendell Holland. Fitzgerald was Winners at War's second runner-up.  

Fitzgerald can be caught tweeting about reality shows, including Survivor and The Bachelor, and her love for Harry Potter.

Season 31 Survivor: Cambodia Winner: Jeremy Collins

After first competing in Survivor: San Juan del Sur alongside his wife, Val, Collins signed up for Survivor: Cambodia and won. He was back in the game for Survivor: Winners at War, where he finished eighth. 

Collins is a firefighter in Massachusetts, and his wife is a police officer. They have four children.

Season 30 Survivor: Worlds Apart Winner: Mike Holloway

Holloway reportedly put his $1 million winnings toward a start-up T-shirt company called Sweet T's Designs. He is in a relationship with Big Brother 17 houseguest Meg Maley.

Season 29 Survivor: San Juan del Sur Winner: Natalie Anderson

Her twin sister, Nadiya, was the first person voted out on Season 29, but Natalie Anderson went onto win the title of Sole Survivor. She returned for more action in Survivor: Winners at War, where she fought her way back into the game -- and into the final three -- after spending 33 days on the Edge of Extinction. Anderson received four votes at the final tribal council, and finished second.  

Prior to Survivor, Anderson competed with her sister on Seasons 21 and 24 of The Amazing Race.

Season 28 Survivor: Cagayan Winner: Tony Vlachos

The aggressive gameplay that helped Vlachos win Survivor: Cagayan made him a target when he returned to compete on Survivor: Game Changers. He was eliminated in the season's second Tribal Council. 

With his victory in Survivor: Winners at War, Vlachos is the only male competitor to win Survivor twice.

Season 27 Survivor: Blood vs. Water Winner: Tyson Apostol

Apostol's third time on the show was a charm: The seasoned castaway won Survivor: Blood vs. Water after previously competing on Survivor: Tocantins and Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains

He returned to the game a fourth time with Survivor: Winners at War. He finished 11th. 

Apostol is married to fellow Survivor alum Rachel Foulger, and the couple has two children.

Season 26 Survivor: Caramoan Winner: John Cochran

After first competing on Survivor: South Pacific, Cochran returned as a castaway and won Survivor: Caramoan. The Season 26 winner and Harvard Law School graduate has written for the sitcoms The Millers and Kevin Can Wait.

Season 25 Survivor: Philippines Winner: Denise Stapley

After outlasting the other Season 25 castaways, Stapley returned to her work as an Iowa-based sex therapist. She got back in the game for Survivor: Winners at War, where she finished sixth, and orchestrated a blindside of Sandra Diaz-Twine.   

Stapley is married and has one daughter.

Season 24 Survivor: One World Winner: Kim Spradlin-Wolfe

Originally known to Survivor fans as Kim Spradlin, the One World winner returned to the game for Survivor: Winners at War, where she finished ninth. 

She tied the knot with Bryan Wolfe in 2013. The couple has three children. Based in San Antonio, Spradlin-Wolfe does interior design work at Kate Kingman Interiors and The Minimal Animal.

Season 23 Survivor: South Pacific Winner: Sophie Clarke

After winning Survivor: South Pacific when she was 22, Clark went onto graduate from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She returned to the game for Survivor: Winners at War, where she finished 10th.

Season 22 Survivor: Redemption Island Winner: Rob Mariano

Also known as "Boston Rob," Mariano is married to the former Amber Brkich, whom he romanced -- and lost the $1 million grand prize to -- on Survivor: All-Stars. 

Mariano has competed on five Survivor seasons, including Survivor: Winners at War, and two Amazing Race seasons. In 2019, he served as a mentor on Survivor: Island of the Idols. He and his wife have four children.

Season 21 Survivor: Nicaragua Winner: Judson "Fabio" Birza

Birza is the youngest winner to be declared Sole Survivor. He was 21 during filming and 22 when he was named the season's winner. Since his win, Birza has worked as a model and played guitar in the band Space Funk Odyssey. He also appeared on the cover of Cassandra Clare's fifth Mortal Instruments book, City of Lost Souls.

Season 20 Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains Winner: Sandra Diaz-Twine

Diaz-Twine was the first Survivor contestant to win the game twice, and is the only two-time female winner. Originally billed as Sandra Diaz, she earned her titles on Survivor: Pearl Islands and Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains. 

She's gone onto compete on Survivor: Game Changers, and serve as a mentor on Survivor: Island of the Idols. She returned in 2020 for Survivor: Winners at War, where she was dethroned early, and finished 15th.

Season 19 Survivor: Samoa Winner: Natalie White

The pharmaceutical sales rep has reportedly settled in Blanchard, Oklahoma, and lives a private life.

Season 18 Survivor: Tocantins Winner: James "J.T." Thomas Jr.

After his Season 18 victory, Thomas returned for two more seasons of the show: Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains and Survivor: Game Changers. He tied the knot with wife, Cameron Bush, in 2015.

Season 17 Survivor: Gabon Winner: Robert "Bob" Crowley

Crowley remains the oldest winner in the history of the series; he was 57 when he was named Sole Survivor. The former physics teacher is now retired and released an autobiography in 2009. He is the owner of a glamping retreat called Maine Forest Yurts.

Season 16 Survivor: Micronesia Winner: Parvati Shallow

With her participation in Survivor: Winners at War, Shallow has now competed on four seasons of Survivor. 

When not competing for Sole Survivor, Shallow is an executive coach, yoga teacher and children's book author. She is married to fellow Survivor alum John Fincher; the couple have one child.

Season 15 Survivor: China Winner: Todd Herzog

The former flight attendant was 22 when he was named Sole Survivor on the show's 15th season. After his run, he battled alcoholism. In a 2018 Reddit AMA, Herzog said he's "sober and active." In 2019, he got engaged to boyfriend Jess Hermansen.

Season 14 Survivor: Fiji Winner: Earl Cole

Cole followed up his 2007 win by appearing on shows on the TV Guide Channel and the Style Network. The advertising executive established a nonprofit, the Perthes Kids Foundation. He and wife Shelley Lee have two children.

Season 13 Survivor: Cook Islands Winner: Yul Kwon

Since winning the reality series in 2006, Kwon has hosted a PBS series, a Link TV series, and has worked at the FCC and at Facebook. He returned as a castaway in Survivor: Winners at War, where he finished 14th. Kwon is a married father of two.

Season 12 Survivor: Panama Winner: Aras Baskauskas

The Survivor: Panama winner returned as a castaway on Survivor: Blood vs. Water. He has two children with wife Christy Petersen and is a singer-songwriter who releases music under the moniker "Odd Us."

Season 11 Survivor: Guatemala Winner: Danni Boatwright

The former beauty queen won the $1 million prize on the 11th season of the show and went on to work as an on-air personality. She returned to the game for Survivor: Winners at War, where she was the third person sent to the Edge of Extinction. 

She is married to former NFL player Casey Wiegmann, and they have two sons.

Season 10 Survivor: Palau Winner: Tom Westman

The now-retired New York City firefighter returned to the reality franchise for Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains, where he placed 16th. He has been a speaker at multiple events but otherwise has left the limelight.

Season 9 Survivor: Vanuatu Winner: Chris Daugherty

After his Season 9 victory, Daugherty returned to his construction job in Ohio and married his fiancée, Lorie Groves. He has remained out of the public eye since his reality show stint.

Season 8 Survivor: All-Stars Winner: Amber Mariano

Originally known to Survivor fans as Amber Brkich, the reality star married fellow Survivor alum Rob Mariano in 2005. She has competed with her husband on The Amazing Race and Survivor: Winners at War. On Winners at War, Amber Mariano was the second player sent to the Edge of Extinction.

This two-time winner lives in North Carolina with her husband and two children.

The Season 6 champ went on to compete on Survivor: All-Stars, and team up with then-boyfriend Ethan Zohn for The Amazing Race 19

The Season 5 winner and actor, who has appeared on shows like Baywatch Nights and Days of Our Lives, has faced legal troubles since his time on the show. He has stayed mostly under-the-radar since winning Survivor.

Season 3 Survivor: Africa Winner: Ethan Zohn

After winning the third season of Survivor, the former professional soccer player went on to appear on Survivor: Winners at WarSurvivor: All-Stars, The Amazing Race 19, Celebrity Paranormal Project and more shows. Diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2009, he is now cancer-free. 

Zohn married interior designer Lisa Heywood in 2016. He is the co-founder of the nonprofit organization Grassroot Soccer.

Season 2 Survivor: The Australian Outback Winner: Tina Wesson

The nurse followed up her Season 2 win by appearing on Survivor: All-Stars and Survivor: Blood vs. Water. She lives in Tennessee, enjoys outdoor activities, and she says she still watches every season of the CBS reality show.

Season 1 Survivor: Borneo Winner: Richard Hatch

The first castaway to be named Sole Survivor has gone on to appear on multiple reality-TV shows, including Survivor: All-Stars, Celebrity Apprentice, and The Biggest Loser. In 2006, Hatch was convicted of failing to pay taxes and also served jail time in 2011. In 2017, he called it quits with his husband after 14 years of marriage.
