See the shows that we'll be thinking about (and obsessing over) all summer long

1 of 19 The CW

90210 (CW)

Cliff-Hanger: Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) told Max (Josh Zuckerman) he couldn't leave for summer camp. Why? She's pregnant. Now What? We'd like to think a sexually active gal like Naomi would have taken better measures to avoid this — did she just forget about what happened to Adriana in Season 1? — so the news left us pretty floored. But we do like her with Max, so if this unexpected surprise keeps him in Beverly Hills a bit longer, we'll take it.

The Big Bang Theory (CBS)

Cliff-Hanger: After a night of drinking, Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) jumped in the sack together. Now What? It was a rough season for Penny, who had to watch her ex-boyfriend Leonard (Johnny Galecki) with a new lady, so it's nice to see her get some action. But hooking up with Raj? This will definitely change the dynamic of the group next season.

Bones (Fox)

Cliff-Hanger: After Vincent Nigel-Murray's murder, Booth (David Boreanaz) consoled Brennan (Emily Deschanel) — in bed. After Angela (Michaela Conlin) and Hodgins' (TJ Thyne) baby is born, Brennan told Booth that she is also pregnant, and Booth is the father. Now What? It's clear that after six seasons, the show is finally going to put Bones and Booth together as a couple, but we're sure their different views on parenting will make for some pretty interesting drama. The bigger question is this: Will fans, some of whom feel cheated by not seeing the fateful hook-up, get to see the couple between the sheets?

Castle (ABC)

Cliff-Hanger: Captain Montgomery (Ruben Santiago-Hudson), who revealed himself to be the third cop involved in the kidnapping of a mob boss that ultimately got Beckett's mother murdered, gives his own life to kill hitman Hal Lockwood (Max Martini) and protect Beckett (Stana Katic). But at Montgomery's funeral, a sniper shoots Beckett in the chest. Now What? Of course Beckett is going to live. (Conveniently, her maybe ex-boyfriend Josh is a cardiac surgeon.) Inconveniently, as Beckett was dying, Castle (Nathan Fillion) confessed his love to her. But from what we've gathered Castle's insistence on protecting Beckett next season may be the very thing that will stand in the way of them being together.
5 of 19 NBC

Chuck (NBC)

Cliff-Hanger: After donning some sunglasses labeled "For Chuck," Morgan (Joshua Gomez) is zapped with the techno hot flashes and is now the new Intersect. Now What? We prefer Morgan bumbling around without super powers, and this felt a little forced. Since Season 5 will be the final season of Chuck, we're hoping that Morgan gets un-Intersected quickly (after enjoying an episode of kung fu skills, of course) so he can focus on his relationship with Alex. And really, Chuck (Zachary Levi) is the only Intersect-worthy spy. Period.

Community (NBC)

Cliff-Hanger: After winning the paintball war for Greendale, Pierce (Chevy Chase) rejects Jeff's (Joel McHale) invite to join the study group again next semester, leaving the group behind in the library. Now What? We have no doubt that Chevy Chase will continue to be a part of the show, and we kind of like the idea of him being an outsider (and antagonist) to the group. But does that mean Chang (Ken Jeong) will finally take Pierce's chair in the study group?
7 of 19 ABC

Desperate Housewives (ABC)

Cliff-Hanger: Susan (Teri Hatcher), Lynette (Felicity Huffman) and Bree (Marcia Cross) walked into Gaby (Eva Longoria) and Carlos' (Ricardo Chavira) front door just in time to see Gaby's stepfather lying dead on the floor. Then they helped hide the body. Now What? After a season that saw a little too much focus on returning neighbor Paul Young (Mark Moses) and not nearly enough shared screen time for the core four women of Wisteria Lane, this new secret will hopefully bring them back together in a big way. Plus: Now that Bree has fallen in love with a crafty detective, watching the holiest of them all try to lie to her boyfriend should provide plenty of laughs.
8 of 19 FOX

Fringe (Fox)

Cliff-Hanger: Peter (Joshua Jackson) got in the machine and was blasted into the future, where he was faced with making a decision about which universe should survive. After deciding to link the two universes instead, Peter seemingly disappeared because… he never existed in the first place? Now What? The finale raised more questions than it answered. Namely, will we ever see Peter again? And does this mean he never had a relationship with Anna Torv's Olivia (or Bolivia)? Does baby Henry even exist? Thank goodness the show was picked up for another season.
9 of 19 Adam Larkey/ABC

Grey's Anatomy (ABC)

Cliff-Hanger: After tampering with the Alzheimer's clinical trial, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) was suspended from Seattle Grace and caused a rift in her marriage. (Pretty bad timing for a doctor who's just adopted a baby from Africa.) Speaking of babies, Cristina (Sandra Oh) learned she was pregnant, but planned to get an abortion, causing Owen (Kevin McKidd) to kick her out. Now What? Meredith and Derek don't seem to have permanently split, but fans worry this is the last straw for Cristina and Owen, whose premature marriage has seen more downs than ups.
10 of 19 CBS

Hawaii Five-0 (CBS)

Cliff-Hanger: McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) was arrested for the Governor's murder. Oh no, 5-0 is no more! Now What? With Kono (Grace Park) in trouble also and Danno (Danny Williams) being torn between work and family, Chin Ho (Daniel Dae Kim) is the only one actively working on the right side of the law. We're very curious how they'll extricate themselves, considering their history of bending the rules. And let's not forget that Wo Fat is still at large.
11 of 19 Ray Mickshaw/Fox

House (Fox)

Cliff-Hanger: After seeing Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) with another man, House (Hugh Laurie) drove his car through Cuddy's house in a jealous rage. He escaped the authorities by hiding out on a tropical beach. Now What? Thanks to Edelstein's decision to leave the show, we know House's outrageous actions will be the last straw for Huddy. (It almost certainly would have been the end of that relationship either way.) Edelstein's exit aside, we're curious how House skirts the legal ramifications and gets back to work at Princeton-Plainsboro. And more importantly, how will his bromance with Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) be affected?

How I Met Your Mother (CBS)

Cliff-Hanger: In a flash to the future, it's revealed that Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) was the groom at the wedding where Ted (Josh Radnor) meets the mother. Back in the present, Lily (Alyson Hanigan) discovered she was finally pregnant. Now What? So did Barney marry Robin (Cobie Smulders) or Nora (Nazanin Boniadi)? Considering that we still don't know who the mother is, we're guessing Barney's mystery bride will also take a while to be revealed. But we hope it's Robin!

Law & Order: SVU (NBC)

Cliff-Hanger: The season ended with one of the biggest bloodbaths in franchise history: A scorned daughter dealing with her mother's rape and murder unleashed a shower of bullets on the precinct killing the culprits and also several innocent bystanders. Now What? The mournful and horrified looks Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Stabler (Christopher Meloni) shared in the final moments, unfortunately, may very well be their last moment together forever on the show. (Meloni won't return to the show full-time next season). The real question is how the gruesome scene will affect Benson — and whoever she is partnered with next.

The Mentalist (CBS)

Cliff-Hanger: Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) had his first face-to-face encounter with Red John, played brilliantly by Bradley Whitford as an ordinary guy rather than a monster. But once Jane assured himself he was talking to the man who indeed murdered his wife and daughter, he shot him and was taken into custody. Now What? Maybe Whitford wasn't the real Red John. Or perhaps the gunshots didn't kill him. Whatever the next step in the story, The Mentalist made some bold choices in making its protagonist a cold-blooded killer. Color us intrigued.
15 of 19 Monty Brinton/CBS

NCIS (CBS)

Cliff-Hanger: The team finally apprehended the Port-to-Port Killer. But just as the season ended, the Secretary of the Navy enlisted DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) on a super-secret mission to find a mole who's selling U.S. intelligence. And the suspect, whose face was kept secret from the audience, is someone Tony knows! Now What? The most obvious choice is probably E.J. Barrett (Sarah Jane Morris), who Tony had a fling with this season. But what if it is Ziva (Cote de Pablo) working with her father? We expect lots of tension if the mole turns out to be one of Tony's teammates.
16 of 19 Christos Kalohoridis/The CW

Nikita (The CW)

Cliff-Hanger: Mikita is on the run, and Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) teamed up with Amanda (Melinda Clarke) to join Oversight. Now What? We understand that Alex is one messed-up operative, but how can she possibly align herself with her former torturer? Perhaps she has a deeper game in mind. And although we're happy that Michael (Shane West) and Nikita (Maggie Q) are all lovey-dovey, we don't see how long that can last before they're pulled back into defying the current corrupt shadowy organization.
17 of 19 Justin Lubin/NBC

Parks and Recreation (NBC)

Cliff-Hanger: Tom (Aziz Ansari) left the parks department to join Jean-Ralphio's Pawnee-based entertainment conglomerate, and Leslie (Amy Poehler) was approached about running for office. Now What? Did an aspiring entrepreneur like Tom need to leave his government nest eventually? Yes. (Let's just agree to agree that "Know Ya Boo" needs to happen, even on a local Pawnee station.) With Ann (Rashida Jones) now on staff, we can assume they've merely swapped places -- no less screen time for either. Meanwhile, Leslie's potential opportunity will no doubt collide with her secret relationship with Ben, and there's nothing we like better than watching those two attempt, poorly, to sneak around.
18 of 19 Jack Rowand/The CW

Supernatural (The CW)

Cliff-Hanger: The Winchesters' former angel buddy Castiel (Misha Collins) got all drunk with power and souls, declared himself their new god and demanded they kneel before him ... or die. Now What? Huh. We're not quite sure what to make of such a dramatic change. Castiel bad? Not cool. Also, being a god is pretty big. Those Winchester boys will have to have some help or at least do some fast-talking to emerge unscathed from his wrath.

The Vampire Diaries (CW)

Cliff-Hanger: After Damon (Ian Somerhalder) suffered a life-threatening wolf bite, Stefan (Paul Wesley) searched for a cure while Elena (Nina Dobrev) spent what she believed would be Damon's final moments with him. As she gave him a goodbye kiss, which appeared to have real emotion behind it, Katherine showed up with a cure. Now What? No good can come of Elena lip-locking with her boyfriend's brother, especially since bad girl Katherine saw it. Of course, if Stefan is going to keep working off his debt to Klaus (Joseph Morgan), maybe Elena will seek comfort in Damon's arms and reconnect with his lips.
