Get ready for this year's envelope-pushing Grammy fashions by looking back at last year's most memorable looks with TV Guide Network red carpet host Carrie Ann Inaba and red carpet fashion expert Lawrence Zarian. Inaba thinks pink is an unusual color choice for Katy Perry, but she finds her softly structured gown, glowing skin, makeup and hair all to be flawless: "She looks divine."

"Always remember, you wear the trends; don't let the trends wear you," says Zarian of Paula Abdul's bright yellow gown. "Unfortunately though, the chandelier won this time around!"

Inaba likes Jay-Z's slim suit, charcoal tie and oversized ring. "He and Beyonce are the highest paid couple in the business now — and he's dressed like it!" says Inaba.

Zarian thinks LeAnn Rimes' hair looks unfinished, but he's a fan of her blue and brown tank dress and matching sandals.

If Zarian had his way, he'd take his shears to Miley Cyrus' long black gown. "Prune the dress and make [it] a mini." He advises the billionaire beauty to act her age and dress younger. "The reality is that you'll be older in no time."

Adele's chartreuse coat is "powerful and perfect," says Zarian. Paired with a vintage black dress, pumps and tights, it's "uber-chic."

"Nothing brings out baby blues better then wrapping yourself in a sea of blue," says Zarian. "Sheryl Crow definitely gives us something to sing about in this one-of-a-kind dress," says Zarian. One complaint: He thinks the train is too long. "Less is so much more."

Zarian isn't keen on the "bad beehive" atop Cyndi Lauper's noggin, but he loves that the '80s icon is showing off her "gorgeous gams" in a black minidress.

"I know everyone hated M.I.A.'s dress, but I love her for wearing it," Inaba says. "She's young, she's wild and she's free. She is a true fashion 'expressionista.'"

Jennifer Hudson has a "powerful elegance" in a black, white and gray dress, Inaba says. "I love this design, and the way it fits her is something to be envious of. Can anyone say 'diva'?"

Solange Knowles is vibrant and fresh in a yellow minidress, according to Inaba, who loves that the singer is showing off her sexy legs. "Talk about accentuating all the right things!"

Inaba can't get enough of the fun colors of Coldplay's "Sgt. Pepper-inspired jackets. "Two words: Rock stars!" she says.
