8. Scott MacIntyre (tie)Though the judges gave this curly-coifed piano man a bit of a critical reprieve last week with his performance of Billy Joel's "Just the Way You Are", he actually moved down one peg to the bottom position in our poll. What can Scott do to make America like him more?

8. Lil Rounds (tie)Lil Rounds just can't seem to rebound from the last several weeks of less-than-fantastic performances. She said she spent a lot of time picking out Celine Dion's "I Surrender," but the judges were still disappointed — Simon even said it sounded like a wedding performance. Our voters have yet to connect to Lil's songs either, placing her in a tie for last place.

6. Allison IrahetaThough Allison sang No Doubt's "Don't Speak" with her usual rocker-chick flair, the judges didn't love her song choice — or her funky outfit. America apparently didn't love it either, and Allison ended up in the bottom three. Will Allison be able to power-ballad her way back into voters' good graces, both on the show and in our rankings?

5. Matt GiraudMatt floundered last week by trying to be more of a rock star with The Fray's "You Found Me." The judges felt he was trying to be someone else and seemed uptight. But Matt, for now, seems safely ensconced in the middle of our poll.

4. Anoop DesaiYikes, what a difference a week makes! Anoop slipped from our No. 1 spot last week to fourth. It's not that Anoop had a disastrous performance with Usher's "Caught Up," it's that Kris Allen and Danny Gokey had much better outings. What's the plan now, 'Noop Dogg?

3. Danny GokeyEven though Danny got the crowd and judges excited with his rousing performance of Rascal Flatts' "What Hurts the Most," he stayed stagnant in our poll at No. 3.

2. Kris AllenKris has really shot ahead in our poll after several solid performances, including last week's wonderfully arranged "Ain't No Sunshine." Kara even gave Kris' artistry lofty praise. Has the dark horse of the competition become a full-fledged threat?

1. Adam LambertAdam came back from his surprise second place finish last week to reclaim the top spot in our readers' hearts — and with a crazy version of "Play That Funky Music", no less! And he didn't just sneak by Kris for the No. 1 spot, he has a healthy ten-point lead. Can he be stopped?
