Beverly Hills, 90210 Stars: Then and Now

For Beverly Hills, 90210 fans, this is truly the best of times and the worst of times: There's sadness over the loss of Luke Perry, most recently of Riverdale, who died Monday at age 52, and hope for the just-announced new 90210 series to feature members of the original cast.

Here's a look at back at 15 of the show's 1990s standouts -- and a look at where these stars are today:

Then: Priestley was a '90s heartthrob whose Beverly Hills, 90210 character, Brandon Walsh, is the heart of the West Beverly High crew.

Now: The beat goes on for the 49-year-old, who's branched out into directing and race-car driving as he continues to act (ION's Private Eyes; the upcoming 90210).

Then: Doherty played the rebel twin of Brandon (Jason Priestley), who bewitched, but broke up with, Dylan McKay (Luke Perry).

Now: Garth, 46, continues to win (save for on a long-ago losing stint on Dancing With the Stars): The actress and reality-TV star teamed with Tori Spelling to bring the new 90210 series to life.

Then: For most of Beverly Hills, 90210's run, Perry played the brooding bad boy with the big bank account, the long sideburns--and the awesome sunglasses.

Now: From 2017-2019, Perry played the blue-collar father of Archie Andrews (KJ Apa) on the CW's Riverdale. Perry died on March 4, 2019, following a stroke. He was 52.
