The show follows Kimmy Schmidt (Ellie Kemper) through her adventures in New York. Oh, and it should be mentioned that Kimmy has spent the last 15 years locked underground. The show was created by comedic geniuses Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, and Seasons 1-3 are streaming now.

13 Reasons Why

The first season of this dark and often uncomfortable adaptation of Jay Asher's young adult novel is available to stream. Executive-produced by Selena Gomez, the show follows a teenager's pursuit to figure out why his classmate committed suicide.

One Day at a Time

Netflix's comedy, a reboot of the Norman Lear classic, centers around three generations of Cuban-Americans living in one household. The show was renewed for a third season in March 2018.

Grace and Frankie

When frenemies Grace (Jane Fonda) and Frankie (Lily Tomlin) find out their husbands are leaving them for each other, comedy somehow ensues. The performances have earned SAG, Golden Globe and Emmy nominations for Tomlin, and a SAG and Emmy nod for Fonda.

The show follows eight strangers who, after a tragedy, find that they are actually connected. Although it was canceled in 2017, a two-hour series finale will premiere in 2018 due to fan support and demand.
