It's Season 6 of Bravo's hit docuseries The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and these Georgia peaches are far from running out of juice. "We give you everything a great show should: excitement, drama, fighting, feuding and gossiping," says cast member Phaedra Parks. This year in particular promises to offer an embarrassment of riches, according to...
Nene Leakes is The Real Housewives of Atlanta's breakout star thanks to her sitcom gig in NBC's short-lived The New Normal, a recurring role on Glee and now, her own spin-off series. I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding (premiering Tuesday Sept. 17 at 9/8c on Bravo) follows Leakes and her ex-husband, Gregg, in their journey to tying the knot — again. NeNe gave TV Guide Magazine the scoop on why the second time's the charm.
Viewers know Kandi Burruss from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but long before catfighting, the Bravo personality was top charting in the music industry. Despite their candor, when the dust settled there were still many burning questions left about NeNe Leakes' husband, Kim Zolciak's assistant and whether NeNe and Phaedra Parks really knew each other before the show. Here are the five we're still thinking about.
What did Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes think when she saw herself get into a screaming match with on-again, off-again friend Kim Zolciak? "It's an embarrassing thing to see as a mother and as an adult," Leakes said in an interview Tuesday. "I apologize to my viewers and fans, and to my children and family and friends who love and care about me. ...I apologize to them for them having to see me stoop to such a trashy level. When you fool with trash, it can get all over you."
If new Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Phaedra Parks is disappointed with how she's been portrayed thus far — her limo ride with Cynthia, her baby shower, not to mention those pickles are nothing if not a study in awkward — she's not letting on. Watching all the trash-talking going on behind her back doesn't bother her either. "It's not difficult because I know what it is; it's television," Parks says. "Everyone has a role to play and that's what makes it good TV. Everyone's got a job to do." Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kandi: Phaedra's getting a bad rap Parks spoke with TVGuide.com about why a successful entertainment lawyer would decide to do a reality show, what happened to the photos from the pickle shoot, and...
