Atlanta Season 1 was the breakout comedy hit of 2016, earning critical raves (TV Guide named it the fifth-best show of that year) as well as a Golden Globe for best comedy series and a pair of Emmys for creator/star/director Donald Glover. But then it took 2017 off as Glover worked on other projects, leaving fans thirsty for more Arizona Iced Tea.

The good news is that the drought is over soon. Atlanta Season 2, aka Atlanta Robbin' Season, premieres March 1. Atlanta Robbin' Season will find Earn Marks (Glover) and his cousin Alfred "Paper Boi" Miles (Brian Tyree Henry) getting deeper into the rap game as Paper Boi starts to have some success, which leads to a whole new set of surreal situations. But that doesn't mean our heroes aren't desperate.

"Robbin' Season is a time in Atlanta right before Christmastime where a lot of crime happens, because people have to get gifts and stuff so people have more money, and people need money, so robberies go up," executive producer Stephen Glover said at the Television Critics Association winter press tour last month. "You might get your package stolen off your front porch. While we were there our neighbor had her car stolen. It's a tense and desperate time, so we wanted to make that that backdrop to the season and our characters are going through that same kind of desperate transition from their old lives to where they're heading now. Robbin' Season is a metaphor for our characters."

New episodes can be watched live on FX Thursdays at 10/9c or via fuboTV. They can be streamed the day after on the FX app or Amazon.
