UnREAL is finally about to get very real about Rachel's (Shiri Appleby) mental health.

After spending years on and off meds and talking to the woefully underqualified on-set therapist, Rachel is finally going to seek real, professional help in Season 3.

"She finally has a real ass shrink, and it gets complicated," executive producer Sarah Gertrude Shapiro says.

"She does have to take responsibility for what happened at the end of last season and whether or not she produced Jeremy to do what he did and whether she knew exactly what he would do," showrunner Stacy Rukeyser adds. "I think she knew he would do something and she has to deal with that... This therapist, this shrink works with her."

Rukeyser also says that Rachel will have to try to work through the trauma of her childhood, when she was raped by one of her mother's patients and how their family dealt -- or didn't deal -- with that incident.

"I would say that we finally ask the question what the hell is wrong with Rachel, and we answer it," Sarah Gertrude Shapiro says. "And I think that part of the answer is that there is never one thing."

UnREAL Season 3 premieres Monday, February 26 at 10/9c on Lifetime.
