And it was the best thing ever!

Even without the massive stage and elaborate costumes, the Backstreet Boys can still make you scream like it's a Disney Channel concert special in 1999. The iconic boy band dropped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday to perform one of their biggest hits and to remind you that, yeah, they've still got it. But let's be honest, they never lost it.

With some help from Jimmy Fallon and the Roots, the boys performed a special rendition of "I Want It That Way" (clad in all white just like the video!!!) with classroom instruments, and it's exactly what you needed to see today.

So put down your digital box of fresh horrors, take a break from internally screaming into the void and let the angelic voices of Nick, Kevin, AJ, Brian and Howie mend your spirits in the charming video above.

And if that doesn't make your day, this video of them surprising fans in the elevator might do the trick.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on NBC.
