The 100 Season 6 Trailer Previews a Dangerous Road Ahead for Clarke

The new planet might be more than she bargained for

At long last, the trailer for The 100Season 6 is finally here, and so is proof that the new planet our heroes have arrived at isn't quite the refuge they were hoping for.

After spending over a hundred years in cryo-sleep, Bellamy (Bob Morley) and Clarke (Eliza Taylor) woke up not to a restored Earth but to an entirely new planet waiting for them to resettle on. The pair, along with Echo (Tasya Teles), Murphy (Richard Harmon), Emori (Luisa D'Oliveira), Miller (Jarod Joseph), Jackson (Sachin Sahel), and Shaw (Jordan Bolger), make up the first group of explorers, and their new home seems like a technicolored dream world compared to the barren Earth they left behind.

However, as the trailer makes clear, the leader of the civilization there, Russell (J.R. Bourne), isn't too keen on having these planet-killers settle in his kingdom, Sanctum. And as if that wasn't going to cause problems enough, soon people begin suffering from an eclipse-induced psychosis, causing violent outbreaks and chaos. So judging by this first look at Season 6, things are going to go from bad to worse real fast for our heroes once The CW drama returns (which is pretty par for the course at this point).

Everything We Know About The 100 Season 6

In addition to the aforementioned troubles, Bellamy, Clarke, and Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) will struggle to repair their relationships in the wake of their betrayals last season, someone has seemingly kidnapped Madi (Lola Flanery) and is experimenting on her, and there's another group of people living outside of Sanctum that are giving us major Grounder Season 1 vibes, aka everyone best watch out for them. Oh, and what's up with those mysterious green lights? All we know is that it seems like the Hundred can never catch a break, but they'll also never give up without a fight.

The 100 returns Tuesday, April 30 at 9/8c on The CW.
