Yvette Nicole Brown will be taking over Chris Hardwick's hosting jobs on AMC... at least temporarily.

Brown will be hosting this year's The Walking Dead Season 9 Preview Special as well as Talking Dead, according to Variety. The preview special is set to air Aug. 5 with Talking Dead to resume after the premiere of Fear the Walking Dead on Aug. 12.

Hardwick is still under investigation after his ex-girlfriend Chloe Dykstra accused him of sexual assault and emotional abuse in a Medium post last month. AMC pulled Hardwick's talk show Talking with Chris Hardwick after the allegations surfaced and launched its own investigation. Hardwick's name was also scrubbed from Nerdist, the website and podcast network he co-founded, and he stepped down from his panel hosting duties at Comic-Con. Brown will be taking his place there as well and moderating both the Fear the Walking Dead and The Walking Dead panels.

Will Yvette Nicole Brown Take Over Talking Dead from Chris Hardwick?

Brown is no stranger to zombies or Talking Dead though. The actress and TV super fan has made several appearances on the after-show with binders full of notes to break down what happened in each episode.

"I will say this once. I am filling in for a friend, which I have done before. I am not jockeying for a job," Brown tweeted when the panel news was announced in early July. "I have enough of my own. It is my prayer that God's Will is done in the midst of this process & that everyone is okay. My character is known & sound. Nothing has changed."

We say bring it, Yvette!
