Taissa Farmiga Is Bringing Her Murder House and Coven Characters to American Horror Story: Apocalypse

Season 8 just got even better!

Brace yourselves, American Horror Story fans: you're getting a double dose of Taissa Farmiga this season! Just one day after it was revealed Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott will reprise their roles as Vivien and Ben Harmon for the Murder House-Coven crossover season, Entertainment Weeklyhas confirmed that Farmiga will reprise her role as their daughter Violet. The actress previously teased on social media that she was headed to Apocalypse as the powerful witch Zoe Benson. "I think it's about that time to dust off my witch hat...,"she wrote.


The Witch Is Back! Stevie Nicks to Return to American Horror Story

Apocolypse, which premieres next month,is shaping up to be creator Ryan Murphy's most ambitious season yet. In addition to Britton and McDermott, Murphy has enlisted his muse Sarah Paulson, who will play not one but three characters next season. She'll reprise her roles as Murder House's Billie Dean and Coven's Cordelia, as well as unveil a mysterious new character by the name of Venable. Other AHS all-stars headed back to the horror anthology series include Jessica Lange, who will return for a very special episode as Constance Langdon; Evan Peters; Lily Rabe; and Frances Conroy, who will be playing her Coven character Myrtle Snow.

Can September come sooner?

American Horror Story: Apocalypse premieres Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 10/9c on FX.
