Ryan Murphy's Netflix Takeover Is Just Getting Started

Just when you think Ryan Murphy couldn't possibly add anything else to his ever-growing roster of upcoming Netflix projects, he has to go ahead and include one more singular sensation (and then a whole lot more). The versatile producer (and writer and director) is set to make a 10-part A Chorus Line miniseries, and that's still just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to his new endeavors.

In a new interview with Time, Murphy revealed he's got almost half a dozen upcoming projects slated for the streaming service, from new shows and miniseries to a few documentaries -- and the list doesn't even include the productions that will be coming rather soon, including the upcoming The Politician (which lands on Netflix on Sept. 27) and Ratched, a One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest prequel about Nurse Ratched, starring Sarah Paulson.

As for Murphy's new series, his Chorus Line miniseries joins the likes of the already announced Prom and The Boys in the Band adaptions (the former will star Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep; the latter will feature the show's original Broadway cast). He's also going to make a limited drama about designer Halston, with Ewan McGregor set to play the designer, and a 10-part docuseries about artist Andy Warhol.

But that's not all! In the Time interview, Murphy also teases he's working on a style docuseries about "the most stylish people in the world" and A Secret Love, which tells the story of a closeted lesbian couple who came out in their 80s. The real kicker, though, might be that he's working once again with his American Horror Storydarling Jessica Lange on "a piece about Marlene Dietrich in Vegas in the early '60s," but it's unclear if it's going to be a series, a movie, or whatnot.

We're tired just thinking about bingeing all these upcoming projects, so imagine how Murphy must feel making them all.
