Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists: Should We Trust Taylor Hotchkiss?

Hayley Erin doesn't think so

At the end of last week's Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, Alison (Sasha Pieterse) made the rookie mistake of walking into an unfamiliar place without having someone watch the door. After spending years getting trapped in places on Pretty Little Liars, you'd think she'd know better. Alas, when Taylor Hotchkiss (Hayley Erin) discovered the intruder in her trailer, she bailed and locked Alison inside.

Was that just a panicked move on Taylor's part, who has been left to fend for herself since her brother Nolan (Chris Mason) died in the pilot? Or is Taylor someone we need to be wary about when it comes to Alison's safety?

"Can I say you should trust anyone? That's a lesson we should take away from having watched the original series," Erin told TV Guide ahead of Wednesday's episode. "You never know who you should trust. At least Taylor seems to be pretty out in the open about her trustful or distrustful qualities."

While Erin couldn't give us specifics about what will happen when Alison inevitably makes it out of the trailer, she did tease that it's not going to be the easiest conversation for either of the two blondes. Alison has really thrown a wrinkle into Taylor's game plan.

"I think there's a good chance there will be a confrontation between the two," the actress teased. "If she wanted to be anywhere else besides that cabin, the trailer or any of the innumerable trees in the forest, she'd be somewhere else. She's not going to give up her hiding life without a fight."

Part of that friction has to do with why Alison was recruited to Beacon Heights in the first place; she and Taylor share many similarities. While you'd think that'd make it easy for them to get on the same page, it's actually going to cause the two to butt heads more often than not.

"We immediately know that Alison and Taylor have a lot in common. I find that in relationships, friendships, or relationships with your family that you have the hardest time getting along with the people that you're most similar to," Erin explained. "While that's going to bring them together, it's also potential for some difficulty in communicating."

But where will the two go from here? The cabin and now Taylor's camper have been compromised. Does she have any more hiding spots to hide from the rest of Beacon Heights?

"I think it's an unlimited number [of hiding places], especially if you count every tree," Erin teased. "There's no knowing."

Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Freeform.
